Welcome to Indy Action BMX.org, striving to keep BMX alive in Indianapolis.
The track is closed for the winter.Check out the two closest indoor tracks this winter. Steel Wheels is in Hobart, Indiana and Dayton Indoor over in Dayton, OH.
For the 2014 season, IAB is formally announcing that all major track management and operational positions are open from the Track Operator on down. After three years, it is time for new ideas and personnel that can take it to the next level. The current folks (especially the current TO, asst TO and Secretary) are being pulled in other directions time-wise and they just don’t have the time to devote to it any longer.
The plan would be to have a smooth handoff with any information and/or training taking place as to not dump on anyone. There are a lot of people with great ideas. Now is an opportunity for anyone that ever thought about running a track to do so.
Any questions can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Based on responses, we will develop the transition plan as for meetings, etc.
Indy Action BMX is offering a Strider program for the up and coming riders. Go to Striderbikes.com for details.
